WR6 5EQSee map below Description: The plan is to go to The Hop Shed at Suckley “the brewery on a hop farm” (WR6 5EQ – What3Words location https://w3w.co/prowling.unwanted.giraffes - click the link, then navigate by Google maps). It’s about 15 mins drive from St Edmunds via the narrow roads, (heading out on the Cowleigh Road), and maybe 20-25 mins on wider roads that people may prefer to drive, via Leigh Sinton. It has featured on Ben Fogle’s “Make A New Life in the Country” on Channel 5.
The Hop Shed is open from 1 – 7 pm that day, and we are thinking of gathering from about 3pm. Pizza is available to buy from ‘The Pizza Box’, a local mobile pizza service. Drinks-wise, they serve their own beers, made from hops grown on the farm, and local ciders, wines, gins, fruit juice etc, including alcohol-free drinks.
It’s a great atmosphere there, but it’s not smart / plush in any way – very much a farm-vibe! More info here: https://thehopshed.co.uk/ including a video montage which gives a pretty good idea of what it is.
