This section is specifically for choir members and is where you will find all the announcements previously made at rehearsals plus a range of useful resources to help you familiarise yourself with the works we are performing and so get the most out of rehearsals.
Click on the buttons at the bottom of the page to access practice files to help with "note-bashing", recordings of the works we are performing to hear what they should sound like, and details of what has been rehearsed at each rehearsal.

Elgar School of Music
Members may be interested in the following early music activities being organised by the Elgar School of Music.

Baroque ensemble Mondays 4.30 pm - 6.00 pm (every other week)
There's a friendly small ensemble that specialises in Baroque music for instrumentalists that meets every other week on a Monday from 4.30-6. It's suitable for players from about grade 6 standard. Anybody keen is welcome and music is chosen to suit the standard of the players. If you're a bit rusty from school/youth orchestra days don't worry you'd be very welcome.

Viol consorts Mondays 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm
There is a beginners class for viols on Monday afternoons. No experience is needed: if you sing or played the recorder at primary school and are enthusiastic then that's enough! Tuition will be available as part of the session. It's great fun and highly addictive. We have instruments you can borrow.

Please contact Claire Horacek if you're interested for further details or The Elgar School of Music.
